Secure way to activate ATM card online through ATM machine of respective bank and net banking. Customers can choose one of the above method, Some of the banks (like ICICI) announced new feature IVR (customer care) ATM card activation/generate ATM PIN. Any bank customers can follow below steps to activate/generate ATM pin for your bank debit card. Some of the functions may different due to Bank's ATM software.
Steps to Generate ATM Pin
STEP 1 - Generate OTP (One time password)
- Insert your ATM/Debit Card
- Select "Generate ATM PIN option" on Screen
- Select "Generate OTP" option
- Enter registered mobile number /registered date of birth. (OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number)
STEP 2 - Generate ATM PIN
- Insert ATM/Debit Card once again
- Select "Generate ATM PIN option" on Screen
- Select "Already have an OTP,generate ATM pin" option.
- Enter OTP received on your mobile number
- Enter your new ATM Pin
- Re-enter your new ATM Pin (ATM PIN will be generated successfully)
The above steps are similar in all bank's ATM machine, may change some of the options. SBT, SBI, Indian bank, etc. can also activate through internet baking.
